How this tablet differs from peptide GLP-1 products
Orforglipron is a small-molecule medicine taken by mouth. It is not oral semaglutide and it is not a peptide injection placed into tablet form. Its food instructions, metabolism, drug interactions and strengths come from the Foundayo label. A product sold online as research or compounded orforglipron does not become Foundayo because the ingredient name appears on the package. Confirm the manufacturer, tablet strength and prescription before applying any label instruction. 1, 2
Medication review and monitoring
Foundayo has product-specific interactions involving CYP3A4 medicines, certain transport inhibitors, simvastatin and other oral drugs whose absorption may matter. Bring prescription medicines, over-the-counter products and supplements to the review. Digestive symptoms, hydration, kidney function and glucose-lowering drugs may influence follow-up. The label does not recommend using another GLP-1 receptor agonist at the same time. When symptoms should not wait
Persistent severe abdominal pain, especially with vomiting, needs prompt evaluation for pancreatitis. Repeated vomiting or diarrhea can lead to dehydration and acute kidney injury. Seek urgent help for severe allergy symptoms such as trouble breathing or swelling of the face or throat. Report a neck lump, persistent hoarseness, swallowing difficulty or shortness of breath because the boxed warning requires thyroid-tumor counseling. For procedures, tell the care team that Foundayo delays stomach emptying and when it was last taken. 2
Storage and missed-use questions
Keep Foundayo in its original container, protected as the label directs, and do not split, crush or chew the tablet. Travel, vomiting, a missed tablet or an interruption can raise product-specific questions. Ask the pharmacist or prescriber rather than borrowing advice from another daily medicine. If the tablet appearance, strength or package changes unexpectedly, verify it before use and retain the container for reconciliation. 2
