What Ro is and who it is for

Ro (ro.co) is a large, well-known telehealth company, and Ro Body is its weight loss program. You complete an online visit, a Ro-affiliated provider reviews you, and if appropriate you are prescribed a GLP-1 medication with ongoing check-ins, 1:1 provider messaging, and coaching.

Ro Body is best for someone who specifically wants branded, FDA-approved GLP-1 medication like Wegovy or Zepbound, and who wants help pushing for insurance coverage. Its insurance concierge and prior-authorization support are a real, useful feature that many cash-only programs do not offer.

If your insurance covers a GLP-1, your medication cost could drop to a copay. If it does not, you are looking at the full cash prices below plus the membership.

Ro Body pricing in 2026

Ro advertises a $39 first month, but the regular ongoing membership is $149/mo, or as low as roughly $74/mo if you prepay for a year (about $888 up front). Membership and medication are billed separately.
