What Maven hormone care is
Maven's Hormone Care Essentials gives you two 20 minute virtual visits with a hormone health specialist, a personal care plan, prescriptions if needed, and up to 20 messages. There is no subscription.
Maven lists vaginal estrogen, estrogen alone, estrogen with progesterone, and non hormonal options among what its specialists can prescribe.
Maven hormone care pricing in 2026
Maven charges $150 one time for the two visit package. More visits are charged separately. The fee does not include medication: your pharmacy fills and bills it, and your plan may cover it with a copay.
Sipra prices the medication into one number. The HRT cream (Bi-Est, estradiol and estriol) starts at $95/mo, estradiol tablets with progesterone at $190/mo, the brand Dotti patch with progesterone at $390/mo, progesterone alone at $85/mo, and vaginal estradiol at $99/mo. Membership is included in each price.
Maven's $150 buys two visits. The medication and any later visits are extra.
Where each one falls short
Maven's package is short: two visits and 20 messages. Follow ups after that cost more, and the medication price depends on your pharmacy and your plan.
Sipra's HRT cream is compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not the same as, or equivalent to, any branded product. Sipra does not bill insurance, so you cannot use a pharmacy benefit. Sipra backs longer plans with the Sipra Promise, which refunds medication not yet sent to the pharmacy on 6 and 12 month plans if you stop partway through.
