Hers menopause review: cost, care and alternatives

Hers, the women's brand from Hims and Hers, now offers perimenopause and menopause care. A provider can prescribe a kit with up to three parts: an estradiol pill or patch, a progesterone pill, and estradiol vaginal cream. The consult is free, but the menopause page publishes no price and says care is not available in all 50 states. Here is how it compares with Sipra.

What Hers menopause care is
Hers offers perimenopause and menopause care online. You complete an online intake, a licensed provider trained in women's health reviews it, and if treatment is right for you, you get a plan with medication delivered. Ongoing care includes unlimited provider messaging, regular check-ins, and treatment adjustments.
The program is led by Dr. Shepherd, a board certified OB/GYN. The kit can include an estradiol pill or patch, a progesterone pill for people with a uterus, and estradiol vaginal cream for dryness. Hers notes that hormone therapy is not FDA-approved for perimenopause and may be prescribed off label at a provider's discretion.
Hers menopause pricing in 2026
The Hers menopause page offers a free consult but shows no price for the kit. Insurance is not required.
Sipra publishes every price up front. The HRT cream (Bi-Est, estradiol and estriol) starts at $95/mo, estradiol tablets with progesterone at $190/mo, the brand Dotti patch with progesterone at $390/mo, progesterone alone at $85/mo, and vaginal estradiol at $99/mo. Membership is included in each price.
A free consult is a good start. Ask for the full monthly price of the kit before you agree to it.
Where each one falls short
Hers does not publish a price for menopause care and is not available in every state, so you may finish the intake and find it does not serve you.
Sipra's HRT cream is compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not the same as, or equivalent to, any branded product. Sipra does not bill insurance, and testosterone for women is Coming Soon. Sipra backs longer plans with the Sipra Promise, which refunds medication not yet sent to the pharmacy on 6 and 12 month plans if you stop partway through. Sipra is LegitScript certified, certificate 50053943.
