What Defy Medical is

Defy Medical is a concierge telemedicine practice. Its hormone therapy page lists injectable, topical, capsule, suppository, and pellet options, and it has a page for menopause care.

Defy's terms refer to the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions. The pages we checked do not name them.

Defy Medical pricing in 2026

Defy's menopause page says it has no subscriptions or contracts, and it charges for the consults and treatment you use. It does not publish a price for women's hormone therapy on the pages we checked, so the cost depends on your consult and plan.

Sipra prices the medication into one number. The HRT cream (Bi-Est, estradiol and estriol) starts at $95/mo, estradiol tablets with progesterone at $190/mo, the brand Dotti patch with progesterone at $390/mo, progesterone alone at $85/mo, and vaginal estradiol at $99/mo. Membership is included in each price.

Defy's menopause pages post no women's price. Ask for the full cost, consults and medication, before you book.

Where each one falls short

Without a price on its menopause pages, Defy is hard to compare before you pay for a consult. It does not take insurance of any kind, though it offers a superbill.

Sipra's HRT cream is compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not the same as, or equivalent to, any branded product. Sipra does not offer injections, suppositories, or pellets, and it does not bill insurance. Sipra backs longer plans with the Sipra Promise, which refunds medication not yet sent to the pharmacy on 6 and 12 month plans if you stop partway through.
